This kit contains all the components required for the clean-up, containment & disposal of minor liquid Mercury spills with the exception of a Mercury Vapour Protection Respirator (The Health & Safety Commission indicate in their publication, Safe Disposal of Clinical Waste (1999), that a Mercury Vapour Mask is to be used when dealing with spills and should be available in areas where mercury containing apparatus is used).

Contents & Use:

2 x Collection Units (each containing a Mercury Aspirator (Syringe), Scrapers, Amalgamating Powder, Sponges, Apron, Nitrile Gloves, Spill Warning Card, Dampening Spray, Warning Tape & Instructions).

Used components should be returned to the collection unit and then sealed with tape. The sealed unit is the sent to disposal in accordance with Local Authority Regulations or Hospital Procedure.
