KDC Flatpack Double IBC Store
The KDC Double IBC Store is a flat-packed, portable IBC store fully constructed from steel. Perfect for industrial and agricultural use, the unit provides a secure storage solution for chemicals, oils and other hazardous goods on site. Double doors, with door clips, provide excellent access and protection against windy conditions whilst the ventilation panels prevent the build-up of dangerous fumes.
The knock-down construction (KDC) design allows the storage container to be assembled and dismantled quickly without the need for specialist tools or technical expertise. Individual steel panels are lightweight enough to be handled manually, enabling the entire unit to be assembled on site by just two people which also keeps costs to a minimum for relocation.
The safe storage and management of any chemicals placed within this unit is the responsibility of the user, including conducting suitable risk assessments and method statements. Yellow Shield Ltd and SOLMHA Group cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from stored chemicals.

Legislation:
According to Health and Safety Executive guidance HSG51 (1998), minimum separation distances should be maintained when storing flammable liquids outdoors. The recommended distances are outlined below:
Up to 1,000 litres: Minimum distance of 2 metres
1,000 – 100,000 litres: Minimum distance of 4 metres
Over 100,000 litres: Minimum distance of 7.5 metres
If these separation distances cannot be achieved, or if the store is to be located inside a building, a fire-rated storage unit should be used instead.
