The KDC Bunded COSHH Chemical Store | 2m provides a secure, COSHH-compliant solution for storing hazardous substances. Built from fully galvanised steel with a leak-proof bunded base, integrated ventilation and high-security locks, it ensures safe chemical storage on industrial or agricultural sites.
The knock-down construction (KDC) design allows the storage container to be assembled and dismantled quickly without the need for specialist tools or technical expertise. Individual steel panels are lightweight enough to be handled manually, enabling the entire unit to be assembled on site by just two people.

Legislation:
According to Health and Safety Executive guidance HSG51 (1998), minimum separation distances should be maintained when storing flammable liquids outdoors. The recommended distances are outlined below:
Up to 1,000 litres: Minimum distance of 2 metres
1,000 – 100,000 litres: Minimum distance of 4 metres
Over 100,000 litres: Minimum distance of 7.5 metres
If these separation distances cannot be achieved, or if the chemical store is to be located inside a building, a fire-rated storage unit should be used instead.
